Photos of new JDM Honda Civic!!!

This is the new JDM Honda Civic, which will be also sold in Asia. As you can clearly see, there are not huge differences compared to the USDM model, apparent from a different grille at the front, different bumper design and rear lights.

Live shots of Honda Fit Shuttle

Launch of the Honda Fit Shuttle (earlier post) has been postponed due to the earthquake in Japan, but those are some live shots of it prior the official launch. It still looks bad in my opinion, as the massive rear end looks silly, especially in combination with those small wheels. Perhaps the Mugen version (earlier post) will look a bit better....

Lexus to unveil LF-Gh concept at New York Auto Show!!!

Lexus is already working on the GS successor (earlier post) and a lot of renderings have been published by Japanese magazines. A concept called LF-Gh will be presented at the 2011 New York Auto Show, on April 19th, and I presume it will be an indication of how the new GS will look like. According to Lexus, “LF-Gh: LF = Lexus Future. h = hybrid. G = ...”.

Mugen readies CR-Z prototype

Honda is working on a spicy CR-Z, but apparently Mugen is doing the same. Well, according to Mugen, "at this stage, the CR-Z Mugen is being developed purely as a one-off prototype, with no plans for a production version". The prototype is expected to have a Type R-like performance and it should make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.

Honda launches Brio in Thailand

Honda launched today the new Brio in Thailand, a small city car designed for the emerging Asian markets. The production version looks very familiar as minor changes have been applied to the concept version. Power comes from a 1.2L i-VTEC engine with a total power output of 90 hp, while the average fuel consumption is 5.0 L/100km. In terms of transmissions, a CVT one will be also available. Prices will start in Thailand from €9,400.
